Matthieu Bagard, co-president of Avocats Sans Frontières France, and Marie Dosé have just returned from the camps in north-east Syria where they travelled with the Collectif des Familles Unies. They tell franceinfo about the conditions in which French women and children are currently being held, and call for them to be repatriated without delay. Click here to read the franceinfo document.

This 4th mission by Avocats Sans Frontières France to north-east Syria follows a campaign launched in 2020 for the repatriation of all French nationals detained there without right or title, and the monitoring, as a third party intervener, of the execution of the judgment of the Grand Chamber of the European Court of Human Rights of 14 September 2021 condemning France.

For further information, an interview with Marie Dosé and Matthieu Bagard is also available on the Libération website. Click here to read the article on the Libération website.

Avocats Sans Frontières France will continue its actions until these French nationals are fully repatriated.
