📣 NEW ACTIVITY OF THE IMPACT PROJECT !
📌On 28 March 2024 the last follow-up workshop was held, aimed at strengthening the exchange and synergies between the partners of the Involvement of Digital Media for Active Prevention of Conflicts and Tensions (IMPACT) project. This project, funded by the European Union and AFD - Agence Française de Développement, aims to strengthen the positive role of civil society, including digital media, in conflict prevention.
💡This workshop provided an opportunity to take stock of the recommendations made by Guinean and Ivorian media players at the feedback workshop for the study on the theme of "Media and Conflict Prevention".
🗣Stakeholders discussed the actions that had been implemented to improve the media situation in these countries and the challenges encountered in implementing them. Avenues were explored for implementing these recommendations in the future.
🙏We would like to thank all the stakeholders for the rich discussions that took place and we will continue to monitor the progress of these recommendations thanks to the action of CSOs and the media in Guinea and Côte d'Ivoire!
