📣 NEW ACTIVITY OF THE IMPACT PROJECT !
📍 From 9 to 19 February 2024, our partner REPPRELCI (Réseau des Professionnels de la Presse en Ligne de Côte d'Ivoire) criss-crossed ten towns in Côte d'Ivoire to set up caravans to combat disinformation and hate speech, aimed at young people, pupils and students in these major towns.
With the help of trainers, technicians and artists, these actions took place both in schools and in the public arena, notably as part of the African Cup of Nations (CAN), and took a playful form that raised the awareness of nearly 45,000 people about the harmful effects of misleading information and hate speech online, and trained them in the tools to combat these phenomena.
